Earned Media Manager

We are looking for a talented and passionate Earned Media Manager to join the Organic team, working on clients across a range of sectors. The right candidate must be a self-starting individual, with strong organisational skills and a proven background in content marketing, outreach and digital PR. Managerial experience, although not essential, will be advantageous. Your core activities will include:  
  • Owning content marketing and link earning strategy across our client base
  • Delivering effective digital PR and outreach campaigns
  • Reporting on campaign performance, and keeping  detailed and accurate records of the link portfolios you build
About You
  • You have 3 years experience of digital PR, outreach and content marketing
  • You have a thorough understanding of content marketing and outreach and how it fits into the full digital marketing mix
  • You’ve got a proven history of high quality link acquisition via creative content marketing execution
  • You can demonstrate expert knowledge of a wide variety of creative and ethical link building strategies and techniques, and keep up to date with industry news, trends and best practices.
  • You have extensive knowledge and depth of understanding of how search engines rank web pages
  • You’ve got strong organisational, project management and time-keeping skills, as well as excellent written and communication skills
  • You have experience with Google Analytics, Microsoft Office and tools such as Ahrefs, Majestic, Moz and Buzzsumo
  • You are highly organised and proactive with strong planning and time management skills
  • You have the ability to remain calm under pressure and deliver quality work within tight deadlines
  • You’ve got the ability to manage & mentor junior team members

Key Areas of Accountability
  • Delivering successful earned media campaigns across our client set
  • Using a wide range of tools for analysis, tracking, monitoring and evaluation of competitor link profiles to help inform and improve client link portfolios
  • Maintaining strong relationships with the internal team and clients
  • Undertaking backlink audits with removal/disavowal of low quality links if necessary
  • Developing a strong understanding of the products, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives of each of the clients you build links for
  • Monitoring trends in outreach and link building, tools and applications
  • Developing junior team members’ knowledge of Earned Media and associated skills 
  • Efficiently managing your workload and that of junior team members
