What you’ll do
  • Gather data on potential clients, analysing and providing insight to drive sales plans and activity. 
  • Carry out market, prospect and competitor research to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Build sales pipeline by contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings for business development managers 
  • Proactively contact potential clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products – maximising engagement.
  • Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events where appropriate
 
Skills and Attributes
  • Tenacious and resilient with a confident telephone manner
  • Strong commercial awareness 
  • Opportunity spotter 
  • Able to work on own initiative in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organisational and reporting skills
  • Flexible and adaptive
  • Advanced understanding or experience of digital marketing desirable but not essential
