The solution and strategy we put in place to hit the objectives were to focus on optimising for London, National and Local attractions based on seasonality. Our overall content strategy was to create content where gaps exist, and to deindex/canonicalise poor quality, thin or duplicate content to maximise crawl efficiency. This then helped our technical work, which went hand in hand with content, focused on increasing the crawl rate of the site.
The objective of our Earned Media campaigns was to build quality links to the site and associate it with trusted family bloggers, both to benefit Google’s algorithm and to attract new audiences.

We sought to improve domain authority via acquisition of strong backlinks. Part of our activity focused on securing links from relevant family blogs to the Families Online domain using the Healthy Eating infographic.
