Following on from the success of our previous Business Breakfasts, we were back with another instalment at what is quickly becoming one of our favourite Manchester haunts – Artisan.
To commemorate the launch of Return’s first social whitepaper, we welcomed businesses from across the North West to engage with our presentation on social commerce featuring special guests, Apple!
Return’s CEO, Guy Levine, began proceedings with a strategic insight into how brands can realise their untapped potential via social media. A variety of topics were covered, including the biggest e-commerce dates in the marketing calendar, as well as top trends that brands need to be paying attention to right now.
Attendees were also provided with a handful of key takeaways to ask their in-house team or current agency, such as:
- Are you strategically weighting your budget with the key dates in mind?
- How much of your video is viewed?
- How do you laser target your audience & how often do you A/B test creatives?
- When are the Christmas campaigns due to launch?
- How much should you increase your paid social budget by for 2017?
- What other social platforms should you be investing in?
To put the icing on the cake, representatives from Apple offered up some useful information on shooting video for social, including guidance on:
- Lighting
- Sound
- Video Editing
- Narrative & Storyboarding
