The Chancellors brand is a group of leading estate agents, with more than 50 branches in Southern England and Mid Wales. The Chancellors group also comprises of specialist mortgage and insurance advisors.
Although a well-established brand in their own right, Return was brought onboard to raise awareness of Chancellor’s individual local branches, and to drive more traffic to the website.
Our objectives were to:
> Improve brand awareness. Grow Chancellors’ reputation as the leading Estate Agent within their local area.
> Increase Relevant Traffic. Drive traffic from users who fit the ideal customer profile of each Chancellors brand.
> Prioritise Local Search. Expand visibility of individual branches in local search results to drive area-specific leads.
As a reputable estate agent, correctly optimising the local presence was paramount to ensure that Chancellors were highly visible in organic search results for location-specific consumers. We achieved this through a combination of optimising Google map listings and adapting a local citation building strategy. Hyper-local content was created for each branch, with relevant topics applicable to the local town and county.
We built on the relevancy for local and generic search terms through onsite and content optimisation.
Domain strengthening and crawl rate optimisation were needed to improve the prominence of key pages, achieved through developing a robust backlink profile.
Content marketing included coverage for the Harry Potter house which gained both national and international press coverage.
